Salsette-27
Project Overview
Salsette-27 is a landmark super-tall residential development in Mumbai's heritage precinct at Byculla East — one of the tallest residential towers in the city. Fine Glaze executed two distinct scopes at this prestigious project: custom aluminium toilet shaft railing systems across multiple floors, and a full architectural canopy installation. The toilet shaft railings were fabricated from 50mm OD aluminium round pipe with powder coating (RAL 7011) and end base plates — a specification chosen for its long-term durability and clean aesthetic in a high-humidity service environment. The canopy, installed in 2024, was fabricated in ACP panels with precise mitred joinery to achieve a sharp, architectural look at the building entrance.
The Challenge
Fabricating and installing custom aluminium railing systems within the constrained toilet shaft openings across a high-rise building, while coordinating a separate canopy scope during the active fit-out phase.
Outcome
Both scopes completed and handed over within the project schedule. The toilet shaft railing work and canopy installation received sign-off from the site architect and project management team.
